World Zombie Day – October 11th

There are plenty of interesting holidays that deserve our attention and reverence: Squirrel Appreciation Day (January 21st), What If Cats & Dogs Had Opposable Thumbs Day (March 3rd) and Race Your Mouse Around The Icons Day (August 28th), just to name a few. But never has there been a day so profound and thought-provoking, so in need of worldwide observation and celebration…as World Zombie Day.

On October 11th, the global community of the undead will celebrate their lack of a pulse and need to eviscerate the living on an international scale. There will be zombie walks, parties, you name it. One of the highlights this year is a Zombie Walk at Monroeville Mall, the living dead’s Mecca. To find out what events are taking place near your town, check out the official World Zombie Day MySpace page.
