California would love to see celebrity zombies. Or an amusement park a la zombieland.
If their staying within the States send them to a big Industrial type cities, Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburgh!
If your going World Wide set them loose Russia or Siberia, or any other cold weather climate, Watching Zombie blood and guts splatter on the snow would be awesome!
Mexico City. Tight little slum alleyways
LONDON!
Imagine chainsawing hordes of the living dead in the hectic city of London, after jumping off the burning boat on the River Thames. Blasting away a Jockey with a shotgun as you make your way through the Houses of Parliment. Fighting a Tank inside the flooded London Aquarium, stepping over the zombie sharks and jellyfish. Using the underground tubestations as a shortcut, only to find them full with running, flesh-eating zombies. Wacking the stroppy teary-eyed witch round the face with a union jack flag, as Big Ben chimes midnight. Racing to the London Eye, in the pooring rain (typical British weather!) in order to signal for rescue, only to make it to the very top and be pulled down by a smoker. Fail.
Now THAT would be awesome!
London or Cardiff :-D
It would have to be a UK city…
New York
Camber sands, after an sfx wekender there, that is one place that needs a zombie apocalypse!
“Average Small-Town, USA” – It would be fun to slay zombies in a regular home-filled neighborhood.
London – every-time.
there’d be a distinct lack of guns so you’d have to be creative with melee weapons and sparing with bullets.
Plus i think it’s safe to say, EVERYONE wants to see a Zombie in a Busbe (or rather – bearskin hat)…and they’d be the ones carrying guns!
Just as lock as Danny Fucking Dyer doesn’t do one of the voices.
London would be fantastic but I’d still like to see them hit up Boston. Zombies by the swan boats and fighting the tour guides dressed as minute men. Besides you could give one of the survivors a sweet boston accent. “Look out for that cah its got an alarm!”
I was thinking a place like Tokyo, Japan. Heavily populated with unique zombies. Could have geisha zombies, samurai zombies and the scenery would be perfect. And the area is very clumped so there could be a lot of infections and such. Another suggestion is a campsite/national park. Zombie tourists, campers and animals.
i think that the next l4d should be a world edition. each campaign would follow a different set of 4 survivors, In places all around the world, with the zombies appearences changing with the location.
just imagine it:
new york city, making it to the empire state building to be rescued at the top via helecopter. epic cresendo event in Madison square garden. running from a tank in time’s square.
Sydney, Australia, Aborigian Zombies? Imagine fending for your lives in the Sydney Opera House. maybe a military pick up at Taronga zoo? dead animals in their cages, rotting away with their skulls stripped away(ala the cows in dead harvest in l4d1)
how about Tokyo, Japan? i can see this being a campaign for the hardcore players. there is no time to stop, there is too many infected. if you stop, you die. plain and simple. you need to make it out the city limits to be rescued, because tokyo is over run and they will not do pick ups in-city. this would also be awesome for versus mode. imagine playing as a hunter and pouncing on the token female survivor (who is convieniently dressed up in a school girl’s outfit, thank you japanese culture) from a gigantic flashing fluerecent sign from 50 feet?
Las Vegas. Do i need say more?
L4D should come to Canada. Imagine fighting zombies to the top
of the CN tower in Toronto
I’ve recently read “the zombie survival guide recorded attacks”, and think a time line based game would be great. I especially liked the 1611 Japan story and the 1893 French North Africa story. Very good/easy read for anyone, and I’m sure valve could do a million things with it. They could write their own zombie history.
Los Angeles because, we have tight cities, beaches, valleys, and suburban areas all in one! Also, they could have a wide range of people to pick from for characters. Also, Disneyland.
Las Vegas would be awesome.
How about my hometown of Cleveland Ohio! I mean, the city is pretty much dead already, plus you could have a Zombie LeBron James and Shaq!!!!
I would love to see it set in either Los Angeles or Las Vegas!
White Horse in the Yukon. That would be totally awesome!
Los Angeles! Time for a more urban setting.
