Zombie Command

After the recent disappointment of the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies TV Series not happening, good news comes in the form of the movie still proceeding as planned.

Variety reports that Portman will play “feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet” in this forth-coming adaptation and while we thought she’d appeared in one of the classic period novels before it seems as if this will be her first outing in corsets. Let’s take a bit of time to think about that.

Annette Savitch, Richard Kelly, Sean McKittrick and Ted Hamm are also billed to be starring in the zombie filled adaptation but won’t be due out until 2012, by which time the world may have ended anyway.
