Zombieland Trailer And Exclusive Set Pics
Okay, bit late to the party on this one (absence, remember) but I’ll try and make it up to you with some exclusive set pics courtesy of @kglucas
Not sure what I think of the trailer, if it wasn’t for the narrator I’d be excited, I just hope that it isn’t too stupid.
Regardless, here’s our pics from Kelly who was actually an extra on the set of Zombieland!
KG: I was at a shoot in Fairburn, GA, but none of the stars were there that day, our scene was sort of a set up of when the zombies started taking over. I will say it was great fun to be part of it. I was an extra, running in the background to get away from zombies. The interesting thing was that I was not initially cast as an extra, my car was! So in the scene, my car is front and center, has a starring role. Way to go Scion! But they needed more scared people, so I lucked out and got to be pursued by zombies.
My dad was also involved, they used his truck for an abandoned car scene, shot near the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
I wish I had something a little more substantive for you at this point, but I’m more than happy to share what I can. It was great fun being an extra and watching the whole process and seeing the zombies in action.

The pics themselves look pretty awesome, you can just imagine the destruction that’s happened to leave the highway looking like that. After the release of the trailer for Zombieland, Kelly’s scene was actually in it!
KG: Hey, I saw that the trailer for Zombieland just came out, and actually, my scene is in it! Its right at the beginning, where the zombie children are attacking the mini-van! I’m running around being chased somewhere in the background.
When you first see Woody in the trailer, there are cars strewn all about the road; that’s my dad’s scene, his 1990 Chevy Pickup is somewhere in the background. The scene was filmed on GA Highway 20 by the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
So, no huge spoilers or plot give aways, but it’s always cool to hear from somebody that’s been in a zombie flick.
Many thanks to Johnny Googe for taking the photos and letting his truck get beat up!

Saw the trailer a few days ago, I reckon it’ll be quite entertaining :-)
