Warm Bodies: A Zombie Love Story

7 Dec

After Vampires, it’s the zombies turn to be paired with humans in the big screen. After the Edward Cullen-Bella Swan love story, another pair is set to capture the hearts of viewers worldwide: the romance of R and Julie.

Warm Bodies is set to be released in the Unites States on February 3, 2013. Directed by Jonathan Levine, it is based from the novel of the same title written by Isaac Marion. The film will be top billed by Teresa Palmer as Julie and Nicholas Hoult as the zombie R. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic United States where the entire world is torn after decades of war, natural devastation, and a zombie outbreak which turned vast amounts of the population into zombies.

The story opens with R waking up without any idea of his very existence. He doesn’t even have an idea that he is a zombie. After eating the brain of a certain person, he experienced his memories and met his girlfriend. Instead of killing her and eating her brain, R saved Julie from a zombie attack by hiding her in a safe place. As the days go by, Julie and R become friends as R experiences how it feels to be normal, leading to a love story that will defy all the odds of nature, and the challenges of life and death.

Warm Bodies also stars Dave Franco, John Malkovich, Analeigh Tipton, Cory Hardrict, Rob Cordry, and many others. Screenplay is written by Jonathan Levine and music by Marco Beltrami. The film will be distributed worldwide under Summit Entertainment and is dubbed as the next phenomenon after “Twilight.”
