Not just in use as our URL shortener, ZomCo is a new film from Ash Tidball which asks the questions about after the zombie apocalypse, what would we do? How would we get back on track?

The film premieres this Thursday at the Odeon Manchester, UK and we may bring you a review not long after.

“The Dead Must Die” is a new comedy/horror web series set after the inevitable ‘Zombie Apocalypse’, launching today as an Official DailyMotion web series.

There are 7 zombie fueled episodes, which will be appearing once a week for the next 7 weeks.

It follows two video game geeks, Steve (Stephen Russell) and other Steve (Jonny Helm) as they navigate through the wild terrain of their long awaited (and often discussed) zombie apocalypse.

Unfortunately, neither of them is really prepared for the reality of the situation…

Through blizzards, anti-zombie hate mobs, sand-eating, creepy nameless ninja chicks, crossbows, and moms, our heroes shall venture forth into this new world, where there is only one thing they can be certain of: that the dead must die!

From its beginnings as an in-character Twitter account dealing with the zombie apocalypse, The Dead Must Die has developed into a full grown monster series with the aid of its award winning creator Matthew Snyman and Digital Media Producer Alex Barkaloff (Lionsgate) and of course the lovely folks at DailyMotion.

Each episode has original art designed by a group of select illustrators from around the world, and will be available for download each week.

Quality animated fan made title sequence for the upcoming TV adaptation of The Walking Dead is almost certain to be better than the actual one they use in the show.

Still, only a month to go until the show airs, so we’ll reserve judgement until then.

Despite featuring the most lacklustre 3D this side of Clash of the Titans, Resident Evil: Afterlife managed to rack up the worldwide #1 box office last week and with so much money just waiting to be made it shouldn’t come as any surprise that another sequel is going to be made.

Speaking to New York magazine Milla Jovovich said

This new Resident Evil is the first one to ever open at No. 1 worldwide. It’s the biggest movie in the franchise, so we’re definitely going to make another one

Apparently though, this time it will be up to the fans to tell them what we want to see, with Milla going on to add

We’ve been talking to a lot of fans on Twitter and stuff, so it’s probably going to be one of the first movies where we really talk to fans to see what they want, and what characters they want to see. It’s going to be a more interactive process.

Can we tell them to stop? Still, more Milla and Ali Larter ain’t so bad and Sienna Guillory is back as Jill, so I suppose I could go see it, you know, for you guys.

The official key artwork for The Walking Dead was revealed on the AMC blog today and give a glimpse into the panic that was and stillness that is in Rick Grimes’ life.

Coming out October 31st on AMC (and FX in the UK) everything that we’ve seen so far (and we’ve seen the first 4 minutes) looks like it’ll be awesome.

Just a shame the poster is so tiny.

Sequel to the very enjoyable Zombie Apocalypse, this indie sequel is going for a bigger and better feel to it all.

A total departure from the original ZA story but set in the same universe, ZA:R will merge the zombie and post-apocalyptic genres into one action-packed horror adventure. Picture “Mad Max” with zombies.

Despite not even remotely having any 3D in it La Horde has come out with this 3D poster for it’s Italian release on Spetember 10th.

Syfy don’t exactly have the greatest line up at the moment but I’m hoping to overlook that with this new zombie comedy series, Zeros.

In this 1/2-hour single-camera satire, when the zombie population of Marshall City overcomes the 30-foot barrier separating the infected people from the rest of the city, the Zombie Extermination and Removal Operations company (the Zeros) are called in to keep the peace. When they can get out of their own way long enough to focus on a case, they are pretty effective with very unorthodox methods.

I’m not quite sure what’s happened to Syfy’s name generator but we instead propose DinoZombies vs MegaDroids!

Not a whole lot of new footage in this latest TV trailer but it does mean that Resident Evil Afterlife is getting ever closer. I’m going to skip the 3D version though.

Really good short love story set after the zombies have risen.

Kim and Will live on neighboring farms, stuck behind the fences that keep the plague of zombies from killing them. Will they be able to explore their budding love or will they succumb to the revenge of the living dead?
