Division 9 – Scrapped Zombie Shooter From Irrational Games
On Tuesday we Tweeted about a cancelled zombie game from newly revitalised Irrational Games. Well now Game Informer have a scoop on exactly what it was we missed out on, years before Left 4 Dead gave us a zombie shooter we could all play.
Unlike Valve’s seminal shooter though (that isn’t as dirty as it sounds and if you laughed at that you’ll probably find this funny) survivors were tasked with setting up a base, gathering resources and restoring a semi-normal life.
Sample missions would see players able to rescue a doctor from across town, restore the power grid to the city or simply raid the surrounding area to gather supplies.

I bet they never made this as it’s too much like half life 2 – a simple mod can achieve this. Cool concept tho
