Virulents
American and Indian soldiers in Afghanistan stumble upon a load of vampire zombies.
Good: Based on a comic book, which looks pretty insane.
Bad: Another film that is iffy on the zombie credentials. Seems more vampire-demony really but the only alternative seems to be a Versus remake.
Warm Bodies
A zombie falls in love with the girlfriend of one of his victims. Warm Bodies is based on the not yet published novel of the same name.
Good: Ah, romance. Like Zombie Honeymoon or Shaun of the Dead.
Bad: Urgh, romance. Like Twilight.
Xombie reanimated
Series Trailer:
A good guy zombie movie, based on the James Farr Flash comic.
Good: FINALLY, a feature-length Zombie Movie beginning with X! This allows us completists to have something to fill that empty X shelf.
Bad: Another film that is still in the ‘negotiation’ stage. At least the DVDs of the flash cartoon should be coming out.
Y?
Well that’s not bad. We’re only missing 2 letters of the alphabet from out future zombie movie list. “Yo’ Momma was a Zombie” anyone?
Zombie God Squad
Trailer:
Members of the Salvation Army become victims of a murderous motorcycle gang who achieve immortality and go on a holy clean up mission for God.
Good: This should promise plenty of tongue in cheek nonsense
Bad: Still a long way from actually starting filming. Still, it should be out “long before 2017”
