This reasonably accurate but very good rendition of The Evil Dead has been done in 60 seconds (that’s 1 minute for those of you that have trouble with that sort of thing) for Empire magazine’s ‘Done in 60 seconds’ awards.

The official one sheet poster for the as yet unreleased Survival of the Dead has surfaced and, despite featuring Kathleen Munroe front and centre, manages to make the film look more boring than it actually is.
On an island off the coast of North America, local residents simultaneously fight a zombie epidemic while hoping for a cure to return their un-dead relatives back to their human state.
George A. Romero’s latest zombie flick premiering on VOD, XBOX Live, Playstation and Amazon on April 30th before taking over theaters on May 28 Stateside, while here in Blighty the DVD and Blu-Ray will be released March 15th; the same day as Zombieland!
Despite the criticism levelled at the film we here like it, so check out ZC Barry’s Survival of the Dead review. Although we still suspect that Zombieland will crush it in terms of DVD sales.

As ominous as that sounds a zombie plush probably isn’t all that scary, even if he is at your door. I mean look at the liddle guy, isn’t he cute, oh yesh he is, yesh he is.
The guys over at Zombie Fortress are running a competition where you can win your very own zombie Horace as well as limited edition zombie badges (or buttons if you’re some sort of crazy US person) and it couldn’t be easier to enter.

ZC Barry has been playing the beta version of Zombie Smash for the last couple of weeks (look for his name in the credits!) and, despite throwing tantrums when the zombies over-run his house, has been enjoying it immensely.
If you look closely you can see the app icon in the image for the Zombie Command app.
ZombieSmash! is a Survival Comedy game for the iPhone and iPod touch, featuring undead-themed castle defense and entertaining, physics-based gameplay. The game casts players as Joey, a lone survivor pit against a herd of writhing, unrelenting zombies – to defeat the undead masses, players must use their fingers to flick and smash them until they’re un-undead.
A full review will be out as soon as the game is released and until then you can follow the progress on Twitter or on Facebook.
Episode 6 from the guys behind Zombacant and James is in for some trouble.
As promised Apocalyptic Doodle have released the first episode of The Art of Killing Zombies, entitled ‘Fat Zombie Chick’.
With the cliffhanger ending and comedy throughout we’re now more excited than ever to see the next episode. Hoepfully it won;t be another month until it’s out.

The visual style won’t be to everyone’s taste but the camera work, music and voice-over all come together to make an interesting and engaging short video. The series will comprise of 1 minute long episodes and promise to be filled with zombie killing fun.
